We will support the associations « SIDC » (Nursing and Community Development) and « Live Positive », by taking charge of the purchase of medicines.
Founded in 1987, SIDC implements an HIV / AIDS prevention and education program and carries out follow-up for affected and infected people. Based on a fundamental human rights approach, SIDC seeks to reach the most marginalized groups in the community according to a public health methodology.
The program aims to raise awareness of the general population and specific groups such as youth or other vulnerable groups on the issue of HIV / AIDS and aims to develop advocacy activities to combat discrimination and promote the rights of groups vulnerable. This program is set up in coordination and partnership with the association « Live Positive ».
A hundred people currently benefit from the services offered by these two associations. They are young boys / men, couples and widows aged 8 to 64 years old.

Our association, very sensitive to the situation of refugees from Syria, who often had to leave everything in extremely difficult conditions, and in particular that of their children, mobilized very quickly in order to meet their enormous needs. including education and health care.
Thanks to our intervention and to the support of the Monegasque Red Cross, the Prince’s Government and the Children & Future association, we have been able to support our action these displaced populations fleeing hostilities and the crisis in Syria.
We will support 250 refugee families supported by the Tahaddi association for 6 months through the purchase of basic necessities, access to healthcare, schooling for their children and the hiring of a social worker. for their dispensary.

EDUCATION
As part of our support to refugee families from Syria and Lebanese living in Akkar, we wish to contribute to the cultural and social development of the Wadi Khaled community, a remote area that has been particularly neglected by government authorities for many years. years, the community of the region which counts approximately 27.000 inhabitants, having obtained the Lebanese nationality only in 1994 in:
– improving the quality of education provided to Lebanese and Syrian students
– Facilitating the study process for Syrian students in a public school.
