Les Amis du Liban à Monaco has recently concluded its second humanitarian mission as part of URDA’s winter assistance campaign for winter 2019-2020.
In a fruitful collaboration between Les Amis du Liban and URDA last December, more than 616 underserved Lebanese nationals benefited from the distribution of heaters, food parcels, heating fuel, and blankets in Beirut and its outskirts. This month, Les Amis du Liban joined us in Mount Lebanon and South Lebanon to provide underprivileged families with humanitarian assistance which included food parcels, heaters, and blankets, thus benefiting around 621 individuals.
URDA organizes an urgent annual humanitarian response campaign during winter in various areas of Lebanon, funded by grants and donations from several charitable organizations and individuals, to prevent any loss of life due to extreme cold conditions.
